This Privacy Policy explains how [Your Legal Company Name] (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the T’Geos mobile application (“App”).

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

a) Account and identity information

Phone number
Email address
Name and profile details you provide
Profile photo (if you upload one)
Authentication data (including one-time passwords / OTP verification status)

b) Assessment, learning, and usage data

Practice and pitch-detection results
Test / certification progress, scores, attempts, and certificates
App preferences and settings stored on your device
Technical logs needed to operate and secure the App (for example device type, OS version, app version, crash/error information)

c) Camera and microphone data

Microphone: used for pitch practice, audio evaluation, and tests. Audio may be processed on your device and/or our systems to measure pitch accuracy and evaluate performance.

Camera: used during level assessments / certification tests for AI proctoring (for example face presence / integrity checks). Camera access is requested only when needed for those features.

We do not use camera or microphone access for unrelated advertising.

d) Photos / media (if used)

If you choose a photo from your gallery (for example for a profile image), we process that media only for the feature you requested.

e) Payment-related information

If you purchase test unlocks or other paid features, payment is processed by Google Play / applicable payment providers. We may receive purchase status, order identifiers, and entitlement records. We do not store your full payment card details.

We do not intentionally collect precise GPS location, contacts, SMS content, or call logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Create and manage your account
Verify identity via OTP (email and/or phone)
Provide practice tools (tuner / pitch sense) and learning features
Run tests, proctoring, scoring, and certification
Save progress, preferences, and certificates
Provide customer support
Improve App performance, reliability, and security
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

3. Legal Bases (where applicable)

Depending on your location, we process data based on:

Performance of a contract (providing the App and account features)
Your consent (for example optional permissions like camera/microphone when you grant them)
Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement)
Legal obligations

You may withdraw permission for camera/microphone in your device settings; some features (especially tests) may then be unavailable.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

Service providers that help us operate the App (for example cloud hosting, authentication, databases, email/OTP delivery, analytics/crash reporting if enabled)
Google Play / payment processors for purchases and entitlement verification
Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security

We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party services may process data under their own policies (for example Google Firebase / Google services where used).

5. Data Storage and Security

We store account and related data on secure servers and/or trusted cloud providers, and some data locally on your device. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed to:

Provide the App and account features
Maintain certificates / purchase records where required
Meet legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements

If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with your account as described in our Account Deletion Policy, except where retention is legally required.

7. Children’s Privacy

T’Geos is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us at support@tegos.app and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your account and related personal data
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
Object to or restrict certain processing

To exercise these rights, email support@tegos.app with the subject line “Privacy Request” and include the phone number / email linked to your account.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we take steps to protect transferred data in accordance with applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
